La Fabbrica della Farina - Authentic Roman-Style Pizza & Focaccia at Sunshine Plaza

While we were at Sunshine Plaza, we started feeling hungry and decided to visit the food court. We came across a pizza place called La Farina (Love Fabric–style wood-fired pizza), and my daughter suggested we try it. She ordered a Margherita pizza, and honestly, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first pizza was absolutely fantastic—so good that we immediately ordered two more, one mushroom and another Margherita. The texture of the pizza was heavenly: the base was perfectly cooked, light, and crispy, with beautiful flavours. It’s one of the best pizzas we’ve had in a long time on the Sunshine Coast. We were five people—four adults and one child—and we finished every slice so quickly, as if we had never eaten pizza before! That itself says everything about how delicious it was. The person serving us was also the cook, and his personality made the experience even better. He was cheerful, friendly, and served us with such warmth and passion. He also makes focaccia bread, which looked and tasted amazing. This place truly shows how great food and great service go together. If you want to win customers, this is exactly how it should be done. 10 out of 10—highly recommended if you’re at Sunshine Plaza!

I'm really happy I found this place while looking for a good focaccia / pizza. Great ingredients, great service. Initially we just wanted two pieces of pizza, and went for a classic margherita and a piece of "patate". However, I could not resist when I saw the fried panzerotto, so I had to try it. Everything was excellent. Then, I noticed that they also offered some focaccia with Italian ingredients. So I decided to try the "mortadella" with pistacchio, and some chinotto to go with it. Once again, excellent. I can't believe most people in the food court were having fast food...

Randomnly bumped into this shop during my trip and took me back to my country. finally a good authentic Roman style "pizza al taglio", no pineapple, no weird sauces, no compromises, just simple and delicious!

I had the Parmigiana after trusting Danny to pick for me and it was amazing! The crisp and lightness of the base, the rich tomato flavour and perfectly cooked eggplant. Danny and his wife are generous with the serving size and so affordable for what you get. Can’t wait to try some other flavours next time!

Elite! Best sandwich I’ve had. After seeing all the viral videos of food bloggers trying Italian sandwiches, I had to see for myself what all the fuss was about - and let me tell you it was incredible. The bread, the pesto, the cheese and the meats were all perfectly seasoned and it tasted like authentic Italian. I’ll definitely be back again.

As soon as I heard that a Pizza al Taglio, as we call it, opened at The Plaza, I knew I had to try it. This is true Roman Pizza. As authentic as it gets. It reminds me of the Pizza I had growing up as a boy in Rome, living in the Piazza with 3 Pizzerie within striking range on my little feet. This is the real deal.

One of the best authentic pizza I have ever had. Definitely the best in sunny coast. I travel for this pizza and it’s getting better and better every time. Quality ingredients, amazing base, perfectly crispy but not hard or dry. I could go on and on about every perfect ingredients and processes..but you should try for yourself. Thanks boss
